Greene County Briefs

Every week I wrote a handful of briefs on what was happening in the community around the college. This gave students the opportunity to be aware and involved outside of the college campus.

Local staple closes doors for good

This was an article that I wrote on the local Greene County Airport Restaurant closing down for good. This restaurant was a community favorite in Greene County.

Greene County Airport moves towards normality

This article was a follow-up story to the story about the Airport Restaurant. Another follow-up as to who was to fill the restaurant space was written.

New bookstore opens in Claysville

This is a story that I wrote about a new family owned and operated bookstore that had just opened in Claysville, Pa. Along with the print article, a news package was made alongside it.

The art of moving forward... but not moving on

This is an op/ed that I wrote after the death of my mother. This article won an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards.
